The staff, Indera or Imram, is a mind-blowingly nice and friendly guy who goes above and beyond to help. The small shop nearby is super convenient. The owner and manager are incredibly kind and helpful. The hotel is extremely quiet with an amazing view. The breakfast is homemade and very good. They arranged a fair-priced guide for hiking and booked an amazing cooking class. The view from the balcony is jaw-droppingly beautiful. The room is nicely decorated and peaceful. Delivery from local restaurants is available. The breakfast terrace has a stunning view. The location is perfect, within walking distance of town. The bed is big and comfy, and the shower is warm. The manager is helpful and kind.

I absolutely loved the decoration at the hotel. It had a cozy and charming atmosphere that made me feel right at home. The general areas were well-maintained and had beautiful mountain-themed artwork and furniture. As a senior woman, I was glad to see that the hotel was easily accessible for people of all ages. The pathways were well-paved and there were handrails in certain areas, ensuring that I could navigate the property safely and comfortably.
My only suggestion for a better vacation for senior people would be to have more comfortable seating options in the common areas. As lovely as the decoration and ambiance were, some of the chairs and couches were a bit stiff and not as supportive as I would have liked.

Nice big room with a good view - towels, hot water and soap in bathroom. Located a bit outside the city, but you can easily walk to all the major attractions within 10-15 minutes on a safe shortcut. The Sri Lanka breakfast was big and very tasty. The caretaker/manager was friendly and helpful, arranging a good guide for us and getting a cheap taxi when we left.
There is a long and steep staircase from the road to the resort, which may not be ideal for those who have difficulty walking. , the location was a bit hard to reach by car, and there is no air conditioning in the rooms.
